Any great chef can deliver delicious. Royal Palate Foods is incapable of doing anything that is not delicious. Delicious is in our blood, we were born with delicious as high-end caterers and our senior culinary staff has attracted mentors among America's great chefs. The chefs became fascinated with the notion they could serve kosher food that met their own high standards for non-kosher food and they have shared their years of culinary training and experience generously. They get full return on their investment every time they open a box of Royal Palate production.

 

With this chef driven background, it is not surprising that all our sauces come from in- house stocks. We bone out so much veal, beef and chicken that it is actually less expensive for us to use the bones to make the "real thing" than it is to haul them away in the raw. Likewise, our recipes are the very best, from the very best chefs at the very best hotels. They give them to us so their kosher food tastes identical to their non-kosher food.

One leading hotel runs a kosher/non-kosher blind test on their menus each year. If the catering sales staff can tell the difference between a kosher selection from us and the same recipe, non kosher from the hotel's own kitchen, we fail the test and our staff gets retrained at our expense at the hotel's kitchen. In reality, it is win-win for us. We either confirm we are making great food, or we doing whatever retraining is necessary, to get us back on track


This creative energy is amplified by our senior management whose background is Massachusetts Institute of Technology engineering and Fortune 500 experience in process control. In Royal Palate they have found a means to employ their education and experience to their best advantage in an arena they love.


Quality and consistency breed low cost. We have the best raw materials for free from our butchering operations, we have process control mavens in our manufacturing management, and as a result we have consistency, efficiency and low waste. Fresh, excellent raw materials and fanatic process control insure wholesomeness as well. As part of our process control system we perform and record over 800 specific tests on raw materials, and process and environmental systems during every production shift. This way we insure what we are processing, how we are processing and the circumstances in which we are processing meet our standards. If we know we meet our standards every step of the way, then the result will always meet our standard of excellence.
